Jacinda Ardern confirmed Labour Party deputy leader

As expected,
the Labour Party’s confirmed new Mount Albert MP Jacinda Ardern
as deputy leader. Ms Ardern replaces Annette King
who’s retiring from politics. She had unanimous caucus support
for the role and has wasted no time in attacking the government’s
planned changes to superannuation. Jacinda Ardern
has previously supported raising the age of eligibility
but now says she backs her leader Andrew Little’s policy
to keep it at 65.
