Labour under scrutiny over how sexual and assault allegations have been handled


The Prime Minister has continued
to express her concern over her party’s handling
of sexual misconduct and assault allegations despite the party
closing ranks and insisting they were never told. And Jacinda Ardern says Labour Party
President Nigel Haworth will resign if the independent inquiry
finds any major failings. National Party Deputy Leader’s
coming out swinging saying she’s been in contact
with the victims and also claiming
the panel was aware. The Prime Minister confirmed
the alleged perpetrator has not accessed Parliament using their personal swipe card
since August 6.
