Renovo Solutions focus on growth, not admin


My name’s Antony Gray,
owner of Renovo Solutions Ltd. We are a tooling manufacturing company, a sustainable tooling company
working in the North East, increasing manufacturing
companies bottom lines. We chose Flowlens because we were looking
for a dedicated cloud-based system that could integrate
with our accounts package, Xero. It’s fundamentally just having
everything in one place. In previous experiences of ERP systems,
MRP systems, CRM systems, everything was individual. I wanted to kind of bring
everything into one area. I would say the main benefit
for Flowlens for us is time. We’re saving around about
a day a week in time. The workflows
within Flowlens are fantastic and really save on any manual processes that would have been done
in a spreadsheet. I would say life’s a lot easier for us and me, personally,
as the owner of the company. Being able to have everything
within one dashboard, within one system integrating with Xero makes a real big difference
to Renovo as a company. So the benefit I see Flowlens giving us is that as we grow, we’re obviously going
to have to employ more people. We won’t have to employ
backhouse admin staff, but predominantly we’ll be employing
production engineers. Those guys can log on to the system,
log off to the system, they know what all the stock codes are, they can create all the job cards,
create all the projects in an effective process. As we grow further, I see Flowlens– one of Flowlens’ main benefits
being slickness in the system. We have all of our stock codes
set up within Flowlens. We’ve got full traceability
of special manufactured tooling, full traceability
of recycling for customers, which then directly integrates
with Xero in a seamless process. The Flowlens dashboard has been fantastic. We can see sales leads, inquiries,
sales dispatched, invoiced order intake, all within one screen, which is often something other competitors
to Flowlens struggle with. We can grow as a company
based on quantitative information right at our fingertips. We don’t actually
have to drill down into reports. With a visual look at the dashboard, you can see we’ve got
75 enquiries outstanding that would need action, or a certain amount of sales leads. So it’s very, very good
for proactive sales generation. So, if I was to recommend
Flowlens to a friend, I would say that it’s a fantastic system, cloud-based, which you can access anywhere
on your phone, your iPad, your computer, and that the support team
is really, really good with Flowlens. Even though we get stuck
with little things which are just problems in-house, nothing to do with the software, they’re answered straight away. And if we do want something developed, it goes into a pipeline and it’s discussed
with the development team. The growth we’ve experienced
is more than expected, at least double. And I would say thanks to Flowlens. Because it’s very slick as a system, we’ve got everything in place to help us grow
at the rate that we need to and keep up with the growth.
