Should I tell my employer if I am autistic, dyspraxic or have some form of neurodivergence?


it’s your choice whether you wish to
disclose to an employer that you are autistic dyslexic or you are divergent
in any way but it is often helpful to tell your employer. Disclosure means that
an employer can put into place systems that will ensure that the
recruitment process is fair and once you’re in a job then they can make the
necessary adjustments to ensure that you perform at your best you may wish to
discuss this with someone that you know trusts however you must not be treated
unfairly once you disclose your employer that you
are neurodivergent if that does happen then it might amount to discrimination
in which case you could take the matter further
