THEY ARE CONDUCTORS, THEY ARE TRAIN OPERATORS AND BUS DRIVERS, AND TRAIN INSPECTORS JUST TO NAME A FEW OF THE OCCUPATIONS AT THE MTA. THEY CLAIM THAT THEY VILIFY WORKERS WITH ISSUES OF OVER TIME AND ATTENDANCE RECORDS AND THE UNION SAID THEY ARE OFFERING THEM A WAGE FREEZE. WORKERS SAY THAT’S UNACCEPTABLE AND THEY’VE SET IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. >>THE COST OF LIVING IS TOO MUCH. THEY HAVE TO GIVE A COST-OF- LIVING RAISE.     When the transit union speaks the powers-that-be must listen. A complete Transit shutdown is a complete New York City shut down. Transit is the lifeblood of New York City. Millions of people rely on it to move to and fro everyday and every night. New York City is a town in motion justifiably known as the city that never sleeps. No Transit means no movement. No movement means a lot of things none of them good.

  • They (mta workers) get new contracts and a raise you better bet the straphangers better get ready for another fare increase

  • These MTA workers earn 25.00 to 45.00 an hour, they are lazy go back to work and be thankful you have a job. These unions are all corrupt.
