Universal Jobmatch – Employer Registration

Universal Jobmatch – Employer Registration

This video is designed to
help employers register a Universal Jobmatch account
for the first time. To do this, you will need your
company name, full address details including postcode and email address. To get started, click start
now then click register. This will bring up the submit
your information screen. Complete the details and click on ‘Submit’. If you can, please avoid using any special
characters as part of your company name. Now check your email. If you can’t see your
email, please check your spam or junk folder. This has to be done within 24 hours or you
will need to start the whole process again. The email will prompt to create account. You will now need to complete stage 3 of 5
with all of your company details. Make sure that you use the dropdown
menu to select your type of business. If you can’t find the exact business,
please find the nearest fit. This will not affect your account. The next screen will display your
Universal Jobmatch reference number. This reference number may contain
both zeros and O’s. Please make a note of this in case as
you will need it later in the process and if you ever need to contact us. However, please note that this does
not form any part of your log-in details. You will now be asked if you have a Government
Gateway account. We recommend you to select ‘no’ to set up a separate account specifically
for using Universal Jobmatch. You can have more than 1 and your
any others will not be affected. Once you select ‘No’, you will be directed
to register for a Government Gateway account. As part of this process, you will set your
password which you will use to log-in to Universal Jobmatch so it is important that
you keep a permanent record of this. Please note that the password is case sensitive. You will then be directed to
complete the service enrolment. This will link the
Universal Jobmatch account that you created earlier to
this Government Gateway account. As a guide, your Universal Jobmatch
reference usually starts with ‘T3’. The next screen will present you with your
12 digit Government Gateway number. This will be the user ID that you use to
log-in to your Universal Jobmatch account along with the password that you created. Please ensure that you write your user ID down
at this stage as you will not see this again. Forgetting this number will cause
you delay in accessing your account. If you are using a mobile device
ensure that you capture all 12 digits, you may need to scroll across the screen. Tick the box to confirm that
you’ve made a note of your user ID and click on Return to Universal Jobmatch. This will take you to the confirm
your account details screen. Again, please do not edit the city
or region field at this stage. Once you click on ‘submit’,
the system will validate your postcode and you will then be
asked to set 3 security questions. Your registration is not complete
yet and if you leave at this point you will not be able to access your account.
Ensure that you keep a permanent record of your answers as you will need this information
from time to time as a security measure. Click ‘save’ to return to your home page.
