There was a decision made to merge Maxis and MEC, which were Group M agencies into a new agency which is now Wavemaker. This included a program of rolling out and onboarding all staff onto Office 365. All of the Office 365 suite is designed for communication and collaboration in large scale businesses like ours. Our people begin their work, by launching their Workpage. Access to Teams, access to OneDrive, to the various SharePoint sites that they follow, are included in one very easily accessible page. You start your work in the OneDrive. Once you’re ready to share it with your team then you put it on Teams and then you collaborate there. You make sure you have a chat about what works better. And then once you’re done with it and you think that it’s ready to be shared, then you put it on SharePoint communication site where that is available to all of the company and that just demonstrates what a brilliant piece of work we’ve done. People are starting to deliver their work and collaborate with a bit of a spring in their step. They’re just happier about doing it. It’s a lot easier to be GDPR compliant and making sure that its all secure within our systems. We are no longer emailing copies of content to each other, we are actually collaborating over single versions, across geographies, across teams, multiple people at different times. Very, very powerful tool.
